« Marc came to my house last year for a diagnosis of the impermeability of my terrace. Every winter during heavy rains our neighbors had the ceiling completely soaked with moisture. However, despite all the plumbers and so-called experts who came, none of them managed to find out where the problem came from. In two or three questions, Marc pointed out to me that the insulation and waterproofing of the terrace must not have been done properly when the building was created. He suggested that I completely redo the insulation by laying a healthier foundation. The estimate was very quick and reasonable in price and time. I gave him my ok. 1 week later Marc started the work. He removed everything and especially tons of sand under the tiles of my terrace which was soaked with water and which each year soaked the ceiling of our neighbors in winter. He redid the tar screed entirely - then waterproofed the entire floor surface by going up on the edges of the walls to prevent water infiltration through the walls. Then a new layer of sand was applied and the new tile was laid by resloping a slope to speed up water drainage during heavy rains. Finally, joints are laid between the tiles to ensure that the floor is completely watertight. All of this is done on time and without exceeding the estimate. Since last winter, no more problems with my neighbor's hardened ceiling.
